The Fool from early deck Merry meet and Welcome! Welcome to the world of divination, magick, metaphysics, and the occult. The world of Tarot, Astrology, Numerology, I Ching, scrying, divination, Kabbalah, Western Hermeticism and Wicca.

Tarot, that mysterious looking deck of seventy-eight cards, so like our modern playing cards, but also so very different is the main focus of this site along with other divinatory arts. The transpersonal, spiritual and psychological aspects of Tarot are emphasized here. Tarot is a way to know oneself and there by illuminate the past, make sense of the present and create, rather than reveal, the future.

Astrologers Astrology, one of the most ancient arts and sciences, dating back to ancient Mesopotamia is also emphasized here. Practiced in the Far East, Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent as well as in the West, this art is far deeper and far more involved than the daily newspaper horoscope. Our study of astrology here will be as extensive as that of Tarot. Astrology is an art as well as a science and it must be conducted with the exactitude and rigor of any other science. We will explore the astrology and astronomy of the planets (which in astrology is meant to include the Sun, Moon and several of the larger asteroids, dwarf planets and such). We will see how the planets, signs of the zodiac, houses and aspects all interact to produce something far more complex than the horoscope found in newspapers.

The Rose Cross Magick, the most arcane and occult of all arts, comes today in two major branches: so-called Western Hermeticism, consisting of the Kabbalah, the Solar Ceremonial Magick of the Golden Dawn, O.T.O. and Aleister Crowley and the Lunar Magick of Wicca, the Goddess and the God, of ancient Celts, and Druids, of Arthur, Merlin and Morgaine and other Earth-centered spirituality. We will delve into the mysterys of several aspects of Ceremonial Magick, the Enochian Vision Magick of Dr. John Dee, the original 007 for Good Queen Bess, as well as the edgier and riskier evocation of the Goetic demons from the ancient magick found in Calvicula Salomonis Regis, The Key of King Soloman. We will explore scrying with crystals, candle flame, and the black mirror.

The Magic Circle While the Ceremonial Magic with its Solar, Fire and Air, masculine, Yang affinities will be covered and is important, this site will certainly not neglect the Lunar, Water and Earth, feminine, Yin affinities of Neo-Pagan paths, especially that of Wicca, which is the path which we follow. We will discuss what it means to be Wiccan, whether or not Wicca and Paganism are a religion, we will describe the basic beliefs that are common to most followers of Wicca, but with an awareness that there is no central authority nor dogma that defines Wicca, nor Paganism for that matter, and its definition is up to the practioner. We will study some spells, potions and herbology, and yes, defense against the Dark Arts.

Tree of Life Kabbalah, the ancient Hebrew mysticism, and the basis for most, if not all, Western Hermeticism is also featured prominently here and its strong connection to the Taort is studied in depth. We will look at the meaning of the Tree of Life in the Kabbalah, how it relates to the Tarot for both the paths and the Sephora.

Here we bring it all together with information, examples, writing and classes. I am Linda Gail Walters, writer, teacher, lecturer, professional Tarot reader, astrologer, numerologist, magician, witch, solitary practioner of Wicca and several other things. I will be your guide along the way here in this site. I go by many names in this world, some public and known, like my mundane name, others private and secret. Here I am both myself, Linda, and Siobhan Darkstone, my public Wiccan name and the name of my Second Life® avatar and the name sake of my school, the Darkstone School of Tarot & Magick.

This site will be constantly evolving, adding material and expanding existing material. This in no way means that it is "under construction". All of the existing pages are complete in their current form. If the site never changed, there would be no reason for you to ever return, would there?
